Not the event, but the Day announcement, so, close enough maybe?
As today is the anniversary of Port Nowhere's launch, all purchases have a 10% discount.

Hmm, if you've got a setback die to assign and are planning to cheat, does it need to be assigned in step 2, since there's a solid chance of getting tossed out and never seeing step 3?

Nope, it can be assigned to Step 3 if you choose. You don't have to use the same tactics on all the steps.

Mostly it felt cheesy saving it for 3, knowing it might then never trigger. I'm not strategizing much on the very longshot event there.

Similarly, failing step one in the Networking event while garnering a setback die for future rolls...is that rolls only in the event, or am I hanging onto that in case a roll is made later in the day? XD

Can I solicit the GMs to flip destiny against me?
I've got Intimidating, which I realized only downgrades difficulty (not upgrades skill), and I'm not nearly cool enough to talk to B and A-listers, so there are no upgradesnaturally. This request is partially pro-social (eat a destiny flip) and partially "I want to use my cool stuff!"

Sure. Helps give you guys more Destiny to spend.
