Isond nods, which is invisible as she follows the Captain through her ship. "Yeah, his. And I squirreled away odd jobs for enough that nobody could say I didn't give back what I owed, even if I hadn't had a lot of choice about owing it." After a pause, they add, "I guess we could argue how much the knowledge I picked up across the years was worth. But I don't really plan to go anywhere near them to pick up that conversation."
They follow silently for a bit, before asking, "And how'd a Coruscant kid end up with a ship and contracts from Tenel Olon then?"

Re: Boarding Time [ME3]
At least a little bit more, just enough to get to the cargo-room door now Addy stopped by the access. Turning around, a small huff of air that sounded something like a laugh. 'Guess a similar method, just I didn't have a debt and felt like having something that was a little more.." she glanced either way, looking at the ship.
"Well, I had enough living planetside for a while," she shrugged, smirking as she turned about to key in the access.
"Main connect is with Syn though she's.." she hesitates a moment, hand overing over the last key to access the door. "We've been in contact since I've been freelancing. Two folk who got off Coruscant and went their own way," chuckling, keying in the last digit and looking back to Isond, "guess this makes three."
As she finished saying that, the large blast doors made their tell-tale racket as they opened. Hardly anything that could contain atmo moved quietly.

Isond was quiet through the groaning of the doors. Nobody could hear through that. Once open, she waits, still letting the captain take the lead on her own ship, but looking around the interior carefully with an absentminded, "Huh. Hadn't actually known she was from Coruscant too."
"Don't actually remember a ton about the place. You know how a kid's memory is. You don't pay attention to remembering things at that age. Too busy learning. She from the same part of the city as you?"

"Something like that," she said, before leading the way into the main cargo bay. Pausing to close the doors behind them, adding control onto the space. There was a workbench to the far left that could be seen with it's dim light by some boxes, likely food supplies and the like. However, to the right was where the terminal lay and deeper in on the same side was the cargo-lift where the package was waiting dutifully.
"I've been thinking a lot about this job- you know? Considering the part you're playing in it, well.. it was a real shame that you never actually got a chance to meet the Baron, isn't it?" she lead the way over toward their newly acquired cargo.

Following, they smile. "Yeah, haven't met a Chadra-fan noble before. Are they as far up their own noses as some of the human ones I've seen?" Eyes wander across the space, resting for several steps on the workbench, before focusing on the box in front of them once more.

"They're strange little fellows," Addy paced around it, laying her hand against the hard material which contained.. something she was sure was quite previous to their employer.
"Want to meet him?" she turned about once she was on the other side of the cargo from Isond. Laying both her hands onto it and giving the thing a few loving pats of the hand.

"I was only a little surprised he wasn't around for the delivery, given the eyes on him, but yeah." Isond says with a raised eyebrow. "What's he like?"

Re: Boarding Time [ME3]
"Oh, he was there," she said, chuckling with a touch of a menacing tone as she brushed her hand along the top of it.
"See, he's the type that thinks that'll smuggle himself off station for a measly three thousand credits. Transport a crate of cargo to whatever inhabited system I might be going to? One developed enough to have access to the galactic market? Only with the care of leaving soon and not where..." she pat the cargo again.
"Too good by far, doesn't make sense. Smuggling a person though.. a fugitive? Now it makes sense."

Isond bites her lips to keep from laughing. "Seems like that'd be worth more, yes." An appraising eye runs across the crate. "I don't think there's a lot of air in there if you were storing that in an unsealed part of the hull where, say, it wouldn't be found if anyone were searching. Pretty common smuggler trick."

Re: Boarding Time [ME3]
"It's sealed, right?" she brought a hand along the edge of it, a small smirk as she watched Isond for a moment.
"See, I'm willing to bet humility on the notion that this thing he's got us lugging around has him in it, and a life support system capable of keeping him comfortable- at least in stasis- for the ride."
"So, what do you say? Wanna work some magic and see about opening her up? If I'm right, we got the leverage and are owed a fair some creds more for the work."

A considering look, then a shrug. "It's your contract to break. If you want it open, I'll start prying."

The crate was electronically sealed. It would take electronic tools to get it open.

"By all means," she said, stepping back and spreading her arms as to give Isond the floor in dramatic fashion.

Isond nods, getting to work. They dig a nail under the synthskin at a knuckle, from which a small connection extends. With a twist to release, they draw it out, cable trailing spooling behind as it's plugged into the systems on their package. Another lead is attached to her dedicated slicing pad, and then it's time to dive into the defenses keeping her from just popping the lid off.
D3 ME Boarding time Hard Computer check. 2 strain to reduce Dif. to Avg.: 1 boost die from Lockbreaker: 1eA+3eP+1eB+2eD 2 successes, 2 threat, 1 Triumph

If more successes do not matter: Eye for Detail to take strain, convert a success to Adv. and neutralize one Threat.

(take one additional strain from threat)
The crate opened with a hiss, but quietly enough as to not otherwise disturb the contents (Triumph).
Inside was, indeed, the Baron. He was curled up in a tight ball. A tiny life support system hummed in the corner of the crate. There didn't seem to be any food. There were a few bottles of alcohol.
The Baron remained asleep.

One hand gestures to the opened crate as the other clicks and whirrs as everything detaches and retracts back in to place. "They're kinda cute when they're sleeping," she says quietly.

Re: Boarding Time [ME3]
As the crate opened Addy's grin grew wide, and then grew menacing. Flexing her fist a little as she cupped her other hand around it. Taking a slow breath she settled herself a bit, rolling her head back and then around to work out the tension as it rose, keeping it down, getting it to fall.
"Keep an eye on him, hmm?" she managed, barely, to keep her voice quiet. Walking off to the side she pulled up her communicator instead of using the ships intercom. Sending out a few messages to see if the rest of the crew was around.
It was time for a ship meeting, if anyone was.
With the communicator back away, she gave Isond a wave to follow her just a bit off to talk a little easier, "Way I consider it- he wasted our time, our money, hmm? Let's settle that question of who pays for the scanner with our new friend here," she said, glancing over to the crate.

Isond does watch, looking over the controls to see if there's something easy to tweak to keep him hibernating till they chose otherwise. But it's not a terribly long examination before heading over for the mini conference.
"Hmm, and then some maybe." They shake their head. "Risky as hell, though. There's plenty who'd take that half, dump the cargo at the first sign of trouble and figure they're not likely to ever run across him again. And then he'd just be floating till that ran out of juice. Did he strike you as just that dumb? Reckless?"

"Reckless, maybe. One he came in with- one who brought him? Well, guess there's a reason they found each-other if he thought this was a good idea."
"I just might have myself- honest. For the money I'm not committed to some cargo-" she glances over at the sleepy-Baron. Smirking, she crossed her arms. "Real risky, and real dumb. Honest' he's real lucky I'm as curious as I am."

Re: Boarding Time [ME3]
The Baron gave a tiny snore-like snort, but otherwise continued to be quite unconscious.
